Today we have the release for the highly anticipated conclusion of the Tragic Duet, ROCK STAR, UNBROKEN by S. M. Shade

I knew better and I let it happen anyway.

I was drawn in by her kindness and the way she sees into people. The way she looks through their motivations, their fears, into the heart of them where the good waits. One glance and she’s stripped away the layers we wrap ourselves in to keep from being unique.

She saw into me.

Then used it to her advantage.

Now, my son is in danger and if she’s behind it, there won’t be a hole deep enough for her to hide in.

I broke my own rules for Naomi.

My son will not pay the price.

Oh wow! I can’t tell you how excited I was to read the next instalment of Axton and Naomi’s story.

The first book ended on a great cliffhanger and I couldn’t wait to catch up with them both. I had so many questions and now the time is finally here to get my answers. I would like to stress before reading this review to make sure you’ve read the first book as I don’t want to give it all away and spoil the storyline for you.

Axton is beside himself with a range of emotions he can’t control. Anger, hurt, distraught and fear. It’s all in him, swirling inside him like a volcano about to erupt. Most of that anger is channelled towards Naomi.

Finding out that she and Hatch were related forces him ask the question; was any of it real? Was it just her way to insinuate herself into their lives, to grab him and run away with him.

Naomi can’t believe that Axton has turned on her this way. She loves him and she knows he loves her, too. He won’t talk to her or see her, leaving her despondent and frantic. The question everyone is asking is who has Hatch?

Joining the agency to become a nanny wasn’t a coincidence. With the help of her friend, Naomi was able to secure a job with Hatch who just happened to be related to her. See, I’m trying really hard not to give too much away here! But that’s a big clue. Haha!

There is so much more to this story. It comes with a few twists that I didn’t see coming, but it makes for an interesting read. It’s well written and the plot is so good that it keeps your interest throughout the book. This was a new author for me and I really enjoyed her work.

I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Congratulations to the author, and I look forward to reading more of your work.

Rock Star, Interrupted today!

I found my stillness, my space between breaths, when I was a kid. The answer is simple. If it hurts, I pour music on it.

After years of hard work, it’s finally happening. Tragic has a number one album and we’ve gone from being discussed as one hit wonders to hearing words like meteoric mentioned alongside our name.
With two tours planned and another album on its way, we have a lot to look forward to. Playing in a different city every night, the shimmer and roar of the crowd, after parties and endless women.
My lifelong dream is in the palm of my hand until one phone call leaves everything hanging in the balance.
