Today we are thrilled to be sharing  Tracey Lou’s review of New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan’s all-new second chance stand-alone novel in the Hot Jocks series, TRYING TO SCORE

Teddy King excels at many things. Playing hockey. Check. Scoring on and off the ice. Check. Being stupidly attractive … Double check.

Despite his demanding schedule, he still finds time to annoy me. I knew him way back when. Before he was the guy everyone wanted a piece of, he was just a rebellious college co-ed and one of my more energetic study partners.

But secrets have a way of getting out, and a steamy encounter from our college days (that we probably shouldn’t have filmed) is about to cause a major scandal. Unless we can work together to stop it.

Teddy’s no stranger to hard work … but the thing he wants most?

Is me.

Note: This high-heat standalone is chock-full of scorching banter and steamy good times. He’s a testosterone-dripping hockey player who wants a second chance. She’s a tough as nails attorney intent on making partner. Frienemies to lovers. No cliffhanger. Enjoy!

Your favorite hot jocks are back with an all-new stand-alone novel. If you like sexy, confident men who know how to handle a stick (on and off the ice), and smart women who are strong enough to keep all those big egos in check, this series is perfect for you!

Hot Jocks #3 introduces us to another player from the Hawks. It’s like the trials and tribulations of this ice hockey team.

The characters are so easy going, that you will be enthralled by Teddy King or TK as I was. He’s ripped, handsome and too gorgeous for his own good. He loves the ladies and the ladies love him. Being a professional ice hockey player came with its perks.

Sara was a friend of TKs from college. Beautiful and sassy, she’s now a lawyer, her days hectic and never-ending. I’d say friends, but it was more friends with benefits if you catch my drift *wink* And the benefit was about to catapult them both into a situation that neither of them saw coming.

Unbeknownst to Sara, a certain person (TK) kept a copy of a sex tape that had been made back in college. Well, you can guess what’s coming next! Or maybe not, lol. So some bright spark came up with a plan. A PR plan. Will it work?

Sara’s afraid if this got out, it could ruin her career in law. And TK’s worried that he could lose his place on the team. So this plan has to work. I’m not telling you what it is though! Spending time together brought forth all the feelings they’d thought were long forgotten. TK always wanted more from Sara, but he just never found the right moment to tell her.

The physical attraction between this couple was scorching. Will they give in to temptation or will they just carry on being friends with a plan? I highly recommend this next instalment. It’s very well-written and the story flowed like a dream.
