Today we are thrilled to be sharing Natasha Madison’s all-new contemporary romance, HOLLYWOOD PLAYBOY
An entertainment journalist was the last thing I thought I would be doing.
I thought once I got my degree, I would be reporting on stories that made a difference, but now all I do is report on who broke up with who and who is dating who.
I was over it.
Then I got my next assignment.
He’s Hollywood’s bad boy.
He works hard, and he plays even harder.
He’s rude, he’s condescending, and he’s made it known he doesn’t want me on the tour.
With one month on the road with him, two things might happen
One, I may never work in this industry again.
Two, I may just be like everyone else and fall for Hollywood’s Playboy.

Jessica Hawthorn is an entertainment journalist. It isn’t what she thought she would be doing after getting her degree and her aspiration was to report news that made a difference. However, she has been reduced to reporting who is dating whom and what celebrities are up to. Chasing the latest scandals was not what she had in mind. Jess was getting to the point where she was not getting job satisfaction until she was given her latest assignment.
Tyler Beckett. The biggest star in Hollywood with a whole bag of bad attitude. Tyler is rude and arrogant, but he works extremely hard and plays even harder, giving him the title Hollywood Playboy. There is a whole month tour arranged with a group of journalist’s cherry-picked to live alongside Tyler, but one thing is for sure, he does not want Jessica on tour with him. Tyler and Jess don’t see eye to eye after all the reporting she has done on him in the past about his exploits. Jessica is concerned this tour could ultimately end her career or she could just be like everyone else and fall for his charms. No matter neither one of them relish the thought of spending a whole month together every waking moment.
Jess and Tyler have been told by the powers that be that they will tour the month and it is non-negotiable but what they didn’t bargain for was having more in common then they thought possible. Even though they started out as enemies, the underlying chemistry sizzling under the surface and as it came through the story, I thought they would combust with how hot they became for each other. Getting closer could only spell trouble for the two of them being their given professions are high profile. Side characters were a great addition and I did laugh at some of the journalists on the tour.
I loved how the story spun and the characters were well developed. I do love a heroine that’s gutsy and full of sass and Jess had both in spades, no pushover like Tyler was always used to as soon as he showed his charm and megawatt smile. Tyler was the ultimate alpha full of self-assurance. I guess being an actor and in the public eye would fuel him with a very large ego, but there was definitely some hidden depths to him. In the public eye, it was all about being a big showman, but I loved reading about his growing up with his parents and what grounded people they were. Don’t be fooled into thinking this is two hotheads and a steamy romance ensues. It has outside forces that are jealous and conniving and want to control the whole situation which consequently had me shouting at my Kindle for Tyler to wake up and realise that there was a very unscrupulous person working very nearby. I enjoyed this offering and I look forward to the next in the series which will be about new characters, but I very much hope we get to glimpse into Tyler and Jess’ lives one more time.
When her nose isn’t buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she’s in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It’s a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn’t listen to her…
