ONLY LOVE by Melanie Harlow is LIVE!

Heartfelt, beautiful and sexy! There’s a reason Melanie Harlow is one of my absolute favorite romance authors, and Only Love is the latest example of why she holds that spot. Ryan and Stella’s love touched my heart!” Lauren Blakely, #1 New York Times bestselling author

Only Love, an all-new sexy standalone romance from USA Today bestselling author Melanie Harlow is now available!

A gorgeous former Marine with a tortured soul.

The beautiful, compassionate therapist living next door.

A meddlesome grandma determined to get them together.

I was expecting a proposal on my birthday, and I got dumped instead.

How could I have been so clueless?

Grams knew exactly how to distract me.

The “cute boy next door” who’s been helping her with yard work clearly needs a little therapy. Who better to call than her newly single therapist granddaughter?

She even fakes dementia to get me to visit, and now that I’m here she’s doing everything in her power to throw us together.

Not that I’m complaining. Ryan is the sexiest man I’ve ever met–I mean the full package, from the chiseled jaw to the massive shoulders to the rippling abs. (And yes, his package is full, and he knows exactly how to deliver it.) He makes me want to get out of my head and follow my heart. He makes me want to take chances I never thought I’d take.

He also makes me want to take my clothes off. A lot.

But he’s moody and challenging–one minute he’s an open book, and the next he’s completely closed off. He holds me like he’ll never let go, but insists he wants to be alone.

Some wounds are so deep, only love can heal them.

How can I convince him to let me try?

This author never disappoints when it comes to giving her readers an enjoyable fun romance with a touch of angst. This is the story of Stella, the eldest sister of Emme and Maren. This is the third book of The One and Only series but can be read as a standalone.

Stella is a successful therapist whose heart was broken when her fiancé dumped her on her birthday. Now that her sisters are getting married she feels suddenly left out. Thank goodness she has a meddling and nosey grandma who won’t stop at playing cupid.

Ryan is our wounded hero, a divorced ex-Marine and a loner. He has learned to shut out the world and can be such a jerk. Helping out his next door neighbour led him to meeting Stella and you can feel the instant attraction between the two.

Told in multiple points of view this well-written love story features interesting characters. Gram’s attempts at matchmaking will make you giggle and smile and one can empathize with Stella’s insecurities. She is strong but has some self-esteem issues. And then there’s Ryan, emotionally closed-off and aloof, you will surely fall in love with this broken hero. Some readers might not be keen on insta-love and this book is a typical example. The author spins Stella and Ryan’s story that is pure escapism but is balanced out when PTSD is also extensively discussed. The secondary characters provide a multi-faceted side to the story and Ryan’s best friend Mack definitely stands out. According to the author’s notes, Mack will have his own book in the near future and I am looking forward to hearing his own story. I really enjoyed reading this book it gives you all the feels and warms your heart.

A gentleman can’t always follow the rules.

Today we are thrilled to be on tour with A Gentleman for Christmas, an all-new standalone contemporary romance by Prescott Lane!

Some say “chivalry is dead.”

I don’t think so. Most women I know like a gentleman.

Protective, opens doors, treats women with respect, typically follows the rules.

But a gentleman doesn’t fall for his best friend’s woman. Current or ex.

And that’s what I’ve done.

During the Christmas season of all times — that magical time for decorations, gifts, family . . .

Yes, the girl who was off-limits for so long, who I’ve loved all my life, has come back in town and possibly back to me.

I can’t follow the gentleman rules this time. There’s too much at stake. I let her go once. I won’t let her go again.

What happens under the mistletoe, stays under the mistletoe.

Or does it?

What a delightful Christmas read. In fact, it’s one of those books you’ll pick up, won’t want to put down and have even less desire for it to end. The title couldn’t have been more apt, seeing as the male protagonist is just that, the perfect and chivalrous gentleman. And the cover! Isn’t it gorgeous? This is the second book I’ve read by Lane and can’t tell you how impressed I am by her creative writing.

Jax Teigan has it all. Or does he? Successful and drop-dead gorgeous, a true ladies’ man who’d mastered gentleman’s rules, even made it his business. But does what he preach work for him? Women flock to his seminars eager to learn what’s missing in their lives, how to make it better and believe in themselves. He is a star, a truly magnificent speaker that draws in the crowd with his charm; nonetheless, would he be able to abide by his own rules?

‘I’m the gentleman behind the handbook, but I don’t have a damn clue.’

Hmm…an interesting question considering the one woman who’s been filling his thoughts since just about forever is beyond a pact’s boundaries. Will he or won’t he break it and if so, could he lose both of his best friends in the process? One of them has been left in the dark which makes it all that more interesting. Not surprisingly, this causes confusion as the whole situation is far from clear. Jax’s loyalties are divided, his dilemma intriguing, and I loved how the author made me doubt whether his childhood sweetheart would succumb to his gentle persuasion. Does Jax throw caution to the wind and confess his true feeling? One-click and you’ll find out!

“A man’s refusal to love you back or make a commitment has nothing to do with you.”

Skylar’s returns to her roots for Christmas and she’s not exactly in the celebrating mood! I have no wish to tell you why, but I will say the last person she expects to see just happens to be the first to greet her. It’s difficult not to like this gal. She’d made a decision long ago, it didn’t turn out how she thought it would, and she’s running scared. Her wariness to get involved I found understandable, her inner-strength nothing less than admirable.

“Don’t you know you’re unbreakable?”

A second chance romance at its very best, Lane’s shaped a narrative overflowing with playful banter, built up flirty tension and racy scenarios which made this story a really engaging one. Her protagonists are easy to invest in, their emotional connection off the charts. Told in first-person from a dual point of view, reading about their past shenanigans got me chuckling to myself. Spot on supporting character development; their flaws, strengths and weaknesses included tied up the story neatly. I would have liked it to be a little longer but all said and done, it is an Xmas novella. Bravo Lane!

“Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife.”Otherwise known as the original bros before hoes commandment.I’m not advocating calling women hoes. It’s an expression, so put away your Encyclopedia of Political Correctness. There are rules in life. The Ten Commandments were just the beginning. We have rules for everything. How to drive. How to dress. How to walk across the damn street. So why not rules for love? That’s how all this started — a set of rules between my buddies and me.The Bro Code.

Obviously, bros before hoes is rule one. We vowed never to let a girl come between us, which meant if one of us liked a girl, she was forever off limits.

Little did I know our teenage pact would launch my multi-million dollar career. A little tweaking here and some socially acceptable rewording there and The Gentleman’s Handbook was born.

I’ve written books and given seminars on everything from how to find love, to how to propose, to how to have a successful long-distance relationship. You name it, and I’ve got rules for it. Personally, I’ve never been much of a rule follower, but that’s my little secret.

The funny thing is I’ve never been in love. Well, there is this one girl, but we won’t talk about her. It does no good to think about someone you can’t have and never will.

My lack of emotional commitment hasn’t slowed down my career one bit. Currently, I have two books on the New York Times Best Sellers List. My seminars sell out like a Drake concert.

I always find it interesting that the rules started between a group of male friends, but it’s mostly women that come to hear me speak. Occasionally, you see the poor sap boyfriend who was dragged along to listen, but for the most part it’s all women.

This time of the year is no exception. December first until January first is important for guys. Holidays are big for a lot of couples. If you don’t know what you’re doing for your lady, you better figure it out and fast. In fact, my rule is that you should be paying attention all year long.

Trust me on this. If you remember something she mentioned she liked three months ago and surprise her with it at Christmas, she’ll spread her legs before Santa even has time to slide down the chimney. Let’s be honest, that is always at least part of the goal for guys.

So my current work in progress tackles Christmas. A how-to guide for the holidays.

The Gentleman’s Rules for Christmas.
