I, personally, would not have called this story a misadventure, more like a thrill-seeking adventure that will leave you panting for more.
Oliver Graeme, but let’s call him professor. Austere, handsome, broody and very much focused on his work. Very much set in his ways with a passion for kink that he kept hidden even from himself.
Amanda was her name but she went by the name of Zandy. Smart, gorgeous, far from home and a virgin. A title that she wanted to lose. She had one night before she went to work for a friend of her fathers, and it was a night that she would lose all of her inhibitions and discover things about herself that even she never knew.
When these two characters came together the chemistry and attraction was instantaneous. Oliver had issues with letting himself enjoy his sexual preferences due to a former flame’s inability to realise there was nothing wrong with what he enjoyed. Her words had pierced him to the core, leaving him haunted by the words she uttered.
Was Zandy going to be his saviour, enjoying the spankings that Oliver would deliver on a regular basis? Her feelings for him was growing and unbeknownst to Zandy, Oliver’s were too. Yet he was still afraid to let himself feel more, afraid of being rejected. Can Zandy help him to understand that there is nothing wrong with his personal preferences if two consulting adults are in agreement? Will this couple get there happy after, or will they forever be destined to be alone?
This book was what I call a Sierra Simone Classic. Beautifully written with a depth of passion and understanding. No subject is taboo. Just the enjoyment of two consulting adults. Never be afraid to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. I would highly recommend this book if you enjoy a little kink, passion and an overall bloody good read. The story flowed throughout and the passion in this book was off the charts. Congratulations to the author.
Sierra is a voracious reader of all things including the smuttiest smut, young adult, piles of non-fiction for research, and everything Bill Bryson (especially on audio).
She loves writing the dirtiest things that she can think of, King Arthur, sparkling water, Tarot, coffee, leggings, and learning new words daily.
Her previous jobs have included firing ceramics, teaching living history lessons in one-room school house in full, 1908-approved school marm attire, and working as a librarian for several years—not in that order
She lives in the Kansas City area with her hot cop husband, two children, and two giant dogs. (And two cats, but they’re so naughty we don’t talk about them.)
