A sexy, smart, and heart-swooning romance about a girl who has nothing to lose when it comes to flirting with her boss.
This seductive contemporary romance from bestselling authors Meghan Quinn and Sara Ney will keep you on the edge of your seat as you
fall in love with the first novel from this
Dear Mister…**strike out** no, too formal.
Hey there sweet cheeks *strike out* no, too forward.
To whom it may concern,
Full disclosure; before we move forward with this email, I would like it to be known that I have consumed an adequate amount of alcoholic beverages to intoxicate myself tonight. Three margaritas, two shots, and one beer—because it was free.
I think it’s important to be open and honest with your co-workers, don’t you?
So here I am, being honest. Drunk but honest. Or just drunk with lust? You decide.
I like you so much it’s clouding my judgment and making me do things I never would sober. Like write this letter.
I have a hopeless, foolish, schoolgirl crush on you when you are the last person on earth I should be falling for. Did you know people around the office call you a sadist? An egomaniac. An insensitive, arrogant prick. Your bark is worse then your bite, and you don’t scare me. The fact is, I’d love that bite of yours to nip at my bare skin while we’re both wearing nothing but sheets.
For once I want you to look at me as more than one of your employees.
And as long as we’re being honest, that navy blue suit you wear? With the crisp white shirt? It really makes me want to loosen your tie and show you who’s boss.

What great fun reading this collaboration by these authors was. I have read Ms. Quinn’s previous books and love her style but Ms. Ney is a new author to me. And I must say that this duo’s partnership is a hoot, a giggle and a snort every few pages.
Peyton and Rome the main protagonists: they are polar opposites but with the same goal. Peyton works for Rome in the media promotions department and she has been crushing on him for the last two years. Rome is the uptight big boss, a moody bastard, ruthless and totally oblivious of Peyton’s existence until she handed in her resignation. And then she got drunk and emailed him and turned his world upside down.
This funny and light-hearted romantic comedy featuring two very different individuals make for a perfect pair. Peyton Marie Levesque is the match that will light the fire and melt Rome’s frozen heart that only beats for his business. Their witty banter and email correspondence had me in stitches. And then there’s Rome’s best friend, Hunter, the carefree and no-stick-up- his-arse jovial persona to add into the equation and et voilá, the reader gets a mix-n-match of laugh out loud scenarios.
I strongly suspect that Hunter might get his own book, too. Peyton has her share of quirky friends who gets her in sticky situations. This book’s protagonists have perfect chemistry and although initially, it was one-sided or so I thought, their slow-burn romance gradually unfolds into a sizzling hot mess. This cheerful, uncomplicated and simple office romance only gives you a smidgen of angst and that was totally fine with me. Peyton’s character is the one who initiates all the moves and I found it a more than welcome sight that the female protagonist is the one who “woos” the guy. I highly recommend these authors’ highly successful first collaboration; it will definitely cheer you up!
I open the company messenger app on my phone and scroll through the executive names, knowing full well I’m about to break a policy. It’s the company’s phone, and the company’s app, and I’m about to use it for personal use. To flirt.
With my boss.
I close my eyes, find his name—next to it is a little, green dot, which means. . .
He’s on the app.
I’ve never talked to him live before so this is a huge step, but then again, it might be more fun to get his initial reactions to my comments.
Debating it for all but two seconds, I type out a message to him, making sure I’m signed on under my LSY persona.
HandsRomingMyBody: Hey you.
My text turns into a new message on the app and I wait on bated breath to see if he will respond. Nerves prickle up my spine, my fingers feeling numb, my mind playing mutiny with my heart just as little dots appear letting me know he’s typing.
Oh God, I don’t think I’ve been more excited.
