A brand new romantic comedy from your favorite snort-laughing duo!

Liam
The moment Sadie Matthews walks through the daycare center door, I feel my world tilt in her direction. Again. I fell for her when I was fourteen, and I’m still not over her. Problem: she still thinks of me as a teen she used to babysit. But I’ve learned a few things about pleasing a woman in the last fifteen years. I can’t wait to show her how good it could be. I need to move quickly before I lose her again. This is more than a game to me, but I still plan to win.

Sadie
I’ve just survived the worst year of my life. As a single mom of twin toddlers, I don’t have time for a man. I barely have time to finish a thought. Who knew that Liam McAllister would grow up to be so devastating? He’s everything my husband was not: tall, built, and willing to have a tea party with my girls.

I can’t possibly get involved with him. He’s too young for me. Too handsome. But he’s so persuasive…

KFF’s 4 ★ Review

This is the first time we’ve read a romantic comedy co-written by these two authors and it has to be said that we were impressed. Bowen is not a new author to us, Eby is and ooh boy, what a great team they make. We’re not actually sure if the genre was correctly categorised though. Yes, good laughs abound; however, there is so much more to this read than we could ever have wished for. The premise of the story is out of the ordinary in the respect that the tables were turned regarding what we’d normally expect in this kind of a read. And although it worked a treat and the title fits perfectly, what stands out is how the protagonists felt about their situation and if others would consider it acceptable.

Seeing as single dad novels have been trending for quite a while, it was a refreshing change to meet a single mum who’s a tad older than the male character. And to make matters more interesting, she’s got two lovable twins that don’t give her a minutes rest. Believe us, we cracked up with some of their quirky ways. What caught our attention is it’s not your typical boy meets girl romance, either. Far from it; they’ve known each other for ages, had lost touch and bumped into each other. Where? You may ask! We’re going to leave out this little-big detail for you to discover since we have no doubt you love surprises as much as us.

Sadie Matthews is getting her act together after divorcing her husband for reasons which made our blood boil. We loved her strength, how she’s coping with everyday life on her own. Mind you, she got some bosom buddies who are always willing to lend a hand when they’re not busy with their men. And then Liam. Hmm.. he’s ready at the helm in more ways than one.

Besides being drop-dead gorgeous, we thought Liam was a really confident young man. He knows what he wants in his professional life and even more in his personal one. Question is, is Sadie out of bounds. Now here is a guy that knows what he’s doing as far as kids are concerned. He made us swoon, never loses his cool, and values family…yes ladies, we’re not exaggerating at all!  Not surprisingly, Sadie is quite taken with him. Hmm…but there’s an elephant in the room, so it’s going to take quite a bit of convincing on Liam’s part to get Sadie at the very least, to go out with him.

The authors went to town with the character development and the setting is simply breathtaking. The dual perspective in present just happens to be one of our fave storytelling techniques, too. Boy Toy is the third book in the Man Hands standalone series, and if this book is anything to go by, we’ll definitely be one-clicking the others. This is a feel-good romance, not in the least bit melodramatic and will ease the smiles out of you. It certainly had us chuckling to ourselves. And the steaminess….your summer is about to get even hotter ladies!  Bravo Bowen and Eby!

Meet Tanya

Tanya is a starving artist without the starving part. Maybe, then, she’s a snacking artist. She lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her two kids and tiki-obssessed husband and writes quirky fiction.

After writing a gripping, dark, gothic novel IN THE GARDEN ROOM, Tanya decided to switch it up. She’s hard at work on a romcom, which doesn’t feel like work at all.

She likes to keep things interesting.

She is also an award-winning narrator and audiobook publisher. She has been lucky to narrate some of the best books around…600 and counting! Many of the books she narrates are NY Times bestsellers.

She loves the challenge of narrating and truly adores words. Reading other writers’ work encourages her to keep working on her own.

He puts the “screw” in screwball comedy…

BRYNN
At thirty-four, I’m reeling from a divorce. I don’t want to party or try to move on. I just want to stay home and post a new recipe on my blog: Brynn’s Dips and Balls.
But my friends aren’t having it. Get out there again, they say. It will be fun, they say. I’m still taking a hard pass.
Free designer cocktails, they say. And that’s a game-changer.
Too bad my ex shows up with his new arm candy. That’s when I lose my mind. But when my besties dare me to leap on the first single man I see, they don’t expect me to actually go through with it.

TOM
All I need right now is some peace and quiet while my home renovation TV show is on hiatus. But when a curvy woman in a red wrap dress charges me like she’s a gymnast about to mount my high bar, all I can do is brace myself and catch her. What follows is the hottest experience of my adult life.
I want a repeat, but my flying Cinderella disappears immediately afterward. She doesn’t leave a glass slipper, either—just a pair of panties with chocolate bunnies printed on them.
But I will find her.

A sexy new stand-alone comedy.

“Look at me.”
I do it, because his tone commands me to.
“Listen, honey bear. I want you. All of you. Right now. But you need to know this: I will hold your purse. I’ll cry while watching Lifetime movies with you. I will shop for shoes. (Nice strappy wedges, by the way. Great color.) I will surrender to you everywhere, except in the bedroom. Tonight I need you to let me take the lead. Can you do that?”
The old Ashley wants to. But the new Ashley knows better than to trust a man. Even one as fascinating as Sebastian Braht…
