FOUR DAY FLING by Emma Hart is LIVE!

Four Day Fling, an all-new hilarious and romantic standalone from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Emma Hart is LIVE!

Imagine this.

You’re ready to leave after a one-night stand, and you’re figuring out how to—shock horror—leave your number and ask him to be your fake boyfriend for your sister’s wedding this weekend.

When he wakes up.

Well, that happened to me. And over coffee and omelets, I found myself a date.

Which was how I ended up arriving at the wedding with a guy I knew nothing about.

I didn’t know his last name, or how we met, or how long we’d been dating. I didn’t know where he grew up, what he’d majored in in college, or how many siblings he had.

I sure as hell didn’t know he was Adam Winters, hotshot hockey player, and not only my father’s favorite player, but my little nephew’s freakin’ idol.

Which means I’m in trouble. Big, big trouble.

My mother is suspicious, my sister is bridezilla on crack, and my grandpa will tell anyone who’ll listen about his time in Amsterdam’s Red Light District.

Four days.

I have to keep this up for four days, and then Adam and I can return to our regular lives, where we don’t have sex whenever we’re alone, and my family aren’t interrogating him over his intentions with me.

At least, that’s the plan.

And we all know what happens to those.

This is my first book by the author and I was pleasantly surprised with her writing style. I really enjoyed this contemporary standalone romantic comedy with eccentric and lovable characters.

Poppy, a waitress at a local diner met Adam at a bar when on a night out with her best friend Avery. Poppy is a fiery-tempered, sassy redhead, as clumsy as one can get with a self-deprecating sense of humour. Her supposedly one night stand with Adam ended her asking him to be her date for her sister’s wedding weekend. It is when Adam gets to meet her family that everything goes very interesting.

One thing that attracted Adam to Poppy was her brutal honesty and her hilarious wit. He wasn’t exactly straightforward with who he was when he agreed to their pretend fling. There is something about Poppy that makes him agree to whatever she asked of him including their deal. Surely nothing can go wrong with the “special friends” with benefits kind of arrangement, can it?

When I read this book, I didn’t look much into the author’s style so I sort of jumped in blind. This light-hearted love story gives you almost everything: a handsome and dashing sports hero in Adam, a funny, clumsy and gorgeous Poppy and her totally unconventional family members, especially Grandpa.

“Why do you keep calling me sir? I’m not a knight.”

“I was just being polite,” Adam said.

Grandpa barked a laugh and pointed at him. “I know! I’m fucking with you!”

This funny story of a one night stand turned into a weekend fling is filled with witty banter between the characters and hilarious situations, an angst-free tale that makes this book one of the best romcoms I’ve read.  The fast-paced storyline is in sync with the strong and memorable comedic protagonists. Poppy and Adam’s off the charts chemistry is combustible enough to melt your knickers. Will they make it as a pretend couple during the weekend without the family finding out? What happens after the weekend is over? If you are in a book funk and you need something to cheer you up, Adam and Poppy’s story is the perfect therapy.

Don’t get in trouble, they said. Don’t cause an incident. Oops.

I might be a newfound prince, but that doesn’t mean I’m ready to say goodbye to my days of freedom. So when my brother, the king, asks me to babysit a diplomat’s daughter, my first thought is to say no… that is until I see her climbing out of a window with her dress tucked into her thong.

She might just be my kind of girl.

I just thought I’d mix business with pleasure…I didn’t plan to lose control of my heart.

I’ve been groomed by my parents to climb the social ladder all my life and I’m done with it. I want nothing from their royal world.
Now that I’m finally on my own, I can live where I want, date who I want, do who I want.
The one person I won’t be doing? My new accidental roommate.

Oh, he’s gorgeous and mysterious, and cheeky. He’s also friends with the king and a total jackass.
So basically, he’s never gonna get it…famous last words.

Lucas and Bryna are front and centre in a scintillatingly suspenseful roller coaster of an adventure. I feel the need to mix things up in this review. This book isn’t your typical contemporary suspenseful romance with a reluctant royal and court member, oh no. So I’ll explain a little about the set of this book first before I dive off the cliff and into the shallow water below.

This duology is in the same world as Royals Undercover; if you have read the previous books, Lucas will come as no surprise to you. He is after all the reason behind this book’s title. Unless, like me, you haven’t read Royals Undercover, this is a book that can still be enjoyed. An author as seasoned and talented as Ms Malone is able to stitch together multiple threads, without bogging down the pace or pulling readers out of the story.

Okay, the story: For me the biggest question running throughout this book was one the characters kept asking themselves. ‘Can you really change who you are?’

Lucas has run away from his past, and the bad influences he had there. Now he’s working for his king and attempting to keep his head down until the time is right for the news to come out. What news you may ask? Now that would be telling. Throw Bryna Trellis into the mix and poor Lucas is so torn he doesn’t know what ways up.

‘I looked the part. I was a philanthropist seeing after the king and queen’s interests. But deep inside, I was who I’d always been. A thief, a liar.
But a good one. Even I’d managed to believe I was different now. The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world he didn’t exist, right?’

So many times I was left feeling heartbroken for these two. Lucas so desperately doesn’t want to let anyone down, and yet the way he sees himself is as near to hatred as it can be. He hates who he was and he despises what others guilt tripped him into doing.

On the other hand, Bryna is a young woman fighting for her independence and freedom. Parents can be a blessing or a curse and for her, she knows all too well what giving an inch can do. I can’t say enough good things about the secondary characters. Especially Bryna’s best friend Jinx, she is the type of friend that we all need. As Jinx herself says, ‘I’m down to ride or die’. The romance was tangible. The will they, won’t they was off the charts hawt.

“Even after knowing how awful I am, the things I’ve done, the things I was willing to do…do you still want me?”
“Of course. This isn’t exactly a choice for me. From the moment I met you, there’s been this pull between us. I can’t deny it. I feel alive, and infuriated and free, and giddy when I’m with you.”

There were so many breath holding moments where I hoped they would take the leap. I’ve never wanted something so bad. Well, until I read the last page and discovered that there’s a wonderfully, frustrating cliff hanger. Thank you Ms Malone, the wait will be untenably frustrating and I’m so excited to see how this one ends. Tony comes to mind, fingers crossed.

I’ll never stop fighting for her…no matter the stakes.

A year ago I found out I was a long lost prince. But with one lie, that’s all been undone.
But prince or pauper, I’m not going to stop fighting for Bryna. She may be the only thing I can count on right now.

I never meant to get in so deep with my royal roommate—but in my defense I didn’t know.
If anyone else finds out his royal status my mother will meddle faster than you can say gold digger. More importantly, Lucas’s life could be in danger.

Because I’m not the only one with secrets.
And there’s a lot more at stake than heartbreak.

NOTE: This is a sequel – you must have read Royal Bastard to understand Bastard Prince!

Only trouble is, playing fiancé to Elizabeth isn’t quite that simple. Wes finds her sexy and brilliant…and soon wishes their engagement wasn’t fake at all. Not that he’d ever tell her that.

But a lover boy like Wes can only stand an empty bed for so long…and even the best of players has to put down his cards eventually.

Emma-Louise’s 5 Star Review on behalf of KFF

Weston King and Elizabeth Dyson like you never got the chance to see them in the Dirty duet. From the very moment I discovered that this author was going to be releasing a duology about this pair, I just knew from the pit of my stomach that it was going to be combustible and totally off the charts hot. Like hotter than the sun hot. You can’t set up a fake business marriage and not have the plans turn inside out and upside down.

If you have read the Dirty duet, you’re well aware of how devious and despising Donovan can be, and believe you me he doesn’t change his tune at all. This story runs in the same timeline as the previous story and there are a lot of scenes that readers of the previous books will recognise as they were also in the other duology set from another point of view. Like so many stories before this, but unlike some of those, this doesn’t feel like a do-over. The feel is different; there’s more ambience and more emotion. More heat and emotion.

‘One week to try and forget how incredible our night had been.
But how did you forget a night that was unforgettable?’

The relationship between Weston and Elizabeth is hugely impacted by other characters in this mess of a tale. The confusion over why others would be so interested in the real status of their relationship weighed heavily on me most of the time. How could someone who has been around for so many years as a friend suddenly appear so calculating and black-hearted? Which we know they can be, but how much of their soul are they willing to give away for the betterment of their own portfolio? Alternatively, is all this venom about protecting someone as close as family from being hurt? I’ll let you decide that one when you read this little goldmine of iniquity.

“It’s not for keeps, you know.”
“I don’t gather that it’s really any of your business.”
“Oh, my dear, but it is my business. This who arrangement has been my business.”

The most interesting scenes of all were the ones with Weston’s parents, which left no room for imagination about how Weston felt about them and why it was the way it was with his parents.

Polar opposites though is Elizabeth, she is close to her family and avidly wants to spend time with them; whereas Weston couldn’t be any more rabid with his avoidance. This made me wonder how such a wonderfully open and friendly person such as Weston could be so hateful and spiteful.

Do not be surprised to learn that this book like the previous duet, ends in a cliffhanger, and as much as I hate cliffhangers, this one had to end the way it did. How else would the door be left open for the sequel!

I looked at the windows past him, trying to distract myself. Lights flashed and swirled around the dance floor in time to the beat, the only part of the music which made it into the sanctuary of the bubble room. I could tell it was crowded, but I couldn’t make out faces the way they could probably make out ours. “I don’t know if anyone’s looking,” I said.

“Don’t worry about them. Just focus on what you’re doing.”

Easy for him to say. He wasn’t facing them. He was only looking at me.

Nope. I couldn’t think about that either. Just had to focus on the task at hand.

I closed my eyes. “So just pretend that I… That we are… That under my dress…” I couldn’t even say it.

Weston leaned forward and murmured near my ear. “Yes, pretend that under your dress you are not wearing any panties. I have my dick out. I’m working you, and you are showing me exactly how you like it. Now go.”

Just like that, my panties were damp.

I didn’t know if he was saying those things to loosen me up or to get a rise out of me, either was possible.

Whatever his intent, it did the trick. He set the scene. I felt my face flush like the women in the videos as I imagined him rubbing his crown against my slit before nudging his tip inside and then burying himself to the hilt.

I opened my mouth in a silent gasp, acting out how I was sure it would feel. Good. It would feel so good.

This was so…weird. So hot and sexy and arousing and weird.

I wondered if he was feeling it too, feeling turned on, or if it was just me. It wasn’t like I could ask though, and knowing probably wouldn’t help my performance anyway.

So I concentrated on me. Focused on the task.

“Do I move or something?” I bucked my hips forward and felt the friction against my crotch as it rubbed the fly of his pants.

“Yeah,” he said breathlessly. “That’s good. That motion. Just like that.”

“Okay. Okay.” I rocked against him again, and again, my hips tilting back and forth, my clit brushing against his fly. Every time, stroking and kindling a fire in a fireplace I hadn’t had cleaned for some time. I spread my thighs a little wider and braced my knees against the bench so I could swing my pelvis all the way forward, in and out, in and…

I froze. “Is that—?” But I didn’t have to ask. There was most definitely a fat, thick ridge pressed against the crotch panel of my panties. I guess that answered the question of whether he was feeling it too.

My eyes flew open. “Oh my God!”

“Look,” he said, ready to defend himself. “There’s an extremely attractive woman sitting on my lap. I cannot help what happens to my cock. It has a mind of its own.”

A really big mind of its own.

A Standalone Second Chance Romance Novel by #1 NY Times Best Selling Author, Vi Keeland

TNT_FrontCover with black edge

RELEASE DATE: Monday, July 23, 2018

It was just a typical Monday.

Until the big boss asked me to make the pitch for a prospective new client.

After two years on shaky ground at work because of my screw up, an opportunity to impress the senior partners was just what I needed.

Or so I thought…

Until I walked into the conference room and collided with the man I was supposed to pitch.

My coffee spilled, my files tumbled to the ground, and I almost lost my balance.

And that was the good part of my day.

Because the gorgeous man crouched down and looking at me like he wanted to eat me alive, was none other than my ex, Gray Westbrook.

A man who I’d only just begun to move on from.

A man who my heart despised—yet my body obviously still had other ideas about.

A man who was as charismatic and confident as he was sexy.

Somehow, I managed to make it through my presentation ignoring his intense stare.

Although it was impossible to ignore all the dirty things he whispered into my ear right after I was done.

But there was no way I was giving him another chance, especially now that he was a client…was there?

4.5 Stars ~ Reviewed by Sharon Thérèse

I never, ever read the blurb of Keeland’s books. I don’t have to. I know she’s going to entertain me from the beginning to end with surprises and her protagonists who tell their story from a dual perspective, just happens to be one of my favourite storytelling techniques. More important, she always gives her readers plenty of banter. Yep, I’m a sucker for it and here the author hasn’t held back. Now then, imagine my delight when I discovered the foundation of this story is exactly what I love. I’m not going to tell you too much about it or what her female heroine does for a living, and even less regarding the drop-dead gorgeous hero as I have no wish to spoil the read for you.

“Dating? Is that what you’re calling my mandatory community service that forced me to work with you?”

It’s clear from the start that the author was in her element while writing Grayson and Layla’s story. I could feel her enthusiasm through the character’s personalities, the strong and original plot, and a detailed narrative which isn’t overwhelming. Once bitten twice shy, Layla’s picked up the pieces of her broken heart and is concentrating on her career. Her mission: showing her employers she’s capable of doing the job well regardless of an unfortunate mishap a while back. I can’t say I was taken with Layla from word go; however, as the story progressed she grew on me. She gets her indecisiveness under control and showed me tenacity in many situations she had to handle. And I quite understood how she felt seeing that an opportunity to put things right meant eating humble pie and dealing with a new client she…ahem, thought she knew well. Did she, though? In Keeland fashion, she convinces her readers to believe in the naked truth when you’re not even close!

“Hire another firm, Gray. Whatever you think is going to happen to us, isn’t.”

I have to say Grayson Westbrook’s slightly conniving strategy is a brilliant piece of work on the author’s part. But he hasn’t got a malicious bone in his body and his smile…oh my, your panties might just melt but don’t be fooled by it! He well knows he’s put Layla in an awkward position, the question is, what is she going to do about it! Discovering why she wants to keep him at arm’s length all boils down to what one would assume rightly or wrongly, a betrayal. But lying by omission is just as hurtful as listening to the truth, so when he has the possibility to come clean, it was lost in the moment. Was it too late to make things good, for a second chance? Add a shocking piece of news to the mix and it seemed unlikely. Yes, there’s so much more to this tale of love than meets the eye.

“You want what we had to be over, that’s fine. Let’s start something new.”

I really liked Gray. He’s wickedly witty, got good looks, is ambitious, classy and an all put together kinda guy. A real softie at heart, he’s also your typical Keeland alpha male who knows what he wants and turns on the charm at the drop of a hat. Family togetherness is an important part of his makeup since he doesn’t want a repetition of the past. Layla’s isn’t that rosy either, and albeit not being as strong as him, their off the charts chemistry is undeniable. The Naked Truth is the perfect beach read as you can always dive into the sea to cool off lol! Bravo Keeland!

“Missed that attitude, Freckles.”

“May I get you something to drink while you wait for the rest of your party?” the waiter asked. I would normally wait to see what the client did and follow his lead on alcohol. But tonight was not the norm.I rubbed at my stiff neck. “I’ll take a vodka cranberry, please.”I hoped it would help calm my nerves and release some of the tension in my jaw before I gave myself a full-blown headache. Taking out my phone, I started to scroll through emails to distract myself while waiting for my drink and dinner companion. My head whipped up at the sound of Gray’s voice behind me. “Sorry I’m late.”My heart unexpectedly fluttered, and I fought against the feeling of excitement. “Are you really? Because I get the sense you don’t have any manners after the way you interrupted me a million times today.”

He completely ignored my attitude as he took the seat across from me. “Traffic is a bitch getting downtown at this time. Next time we’ll have dinner at my place.”

“There won’t be a next time.”

Gray’s mouth curved into a smug smile as he snagged my gaze. “Sure there will. There’ll be plenty of next times. And eventually you’ll stop pretending you don’t enjoy my company.”

I hated that my body reacted to him. Right from the very start, we’d had a crazy chemistry between us that was difficult to dull.

I sighed. “What are you doing, Gray? Why did you come to my firm?”

He lifted the cloth napkin in front of him and laid it across his lap. “Isn’t that obvious? I need new legal representation.”

“At my firm? And you’d prefer that representation come from an associate instead of my boss’s boss—the head of our securities division? Or even from Pittman, who would gladly hold your hand and provide you whatever legal advice you need from his fifty-plus years of experience?”

“Loyalty is important to me. I want someone I can trust with my business.”

“And you’ve decided that’s me? An associate with five years experience who just got off probation with the Bar Association for violating attorney-client privilege?”

The waiter arrived with my drink. “Here you go, ma’am.” He turned to Gray. “May I get you something to drink? Or would you like to wait until the last of your party joins you this evening?”

“It’s just the two of us. I’ll have a Macallan, neat, please.”

“Coming right up.” The waiter walked around to the other side of the table and started to remove the third place setting.

I put my hand out, stopping him. “We actually do have another party coming, so you can leave that.”

“Very well.” He nodded.

Gray waited until the waiter was out of earshot. “I didn’t invite anyone else to dinner.”

I sipped my drink and offered a saccharine-sweet fake smile. “I did. Figured an important client like you should have more than one attorney to answer his questions.”

Just as I set down my glass, I saw the other man I was waiting for enter the restaurant. He scanned the room, looking for me, so I held up my hand and waved.

“Perfect timing. There’s Oliver now.”

Gray glanced at the man heading toward us and back to me. Instead of being pissed off, the jerk was amused. “That’s cute. You invited a chaperone because you don’t trust yourself with me.”
