A new romantic comedy about love, letting go, and little green men from USA Today Bestselling author Daisy Prescott.

My father was abducted by aliens.
Or so I believed for the last eighteen years.

After my mother’s death, I moved to Roswell, capital of all things alien. I’m going to find out the truth and nothing will stop me . . . except Boone Santos.

Compared to the intergalactic tinfoil hat brigade, he’s a god amongst mere mortals. Too handsome for his own good (and mine), with a grumpy arrogance, and the most beautiful smile ever—he smashes my plan to pieces like a UFO crashing into the desert.

I need a tinfoil hat for my heart.

Do I believe in aliens? I’m not sure.
What do I believe? I’m not going to fall in love with Boone. Definitely not . . .

This book is one of the most entertaining reads I’ve had in quite a while. Lucy and Boone’s story is light-hearted, funny and oh-so-romantic that it will melt your heart.

Lucy grew up without her father. When her mother passed away she decided to search for her missing father who apparently was abducted by aliens hence her trip to Roswell and investigate. She was raised with her mother’s undying belief that her dad left his family for that reason and not because he was a deadbeat dad.

Boone, is the silent and brooding guy who takes his breakfast Mondays to Fridays at the cafe where Lucy works. He’s the tall, dark and handsome quiet guy who hardly interacts with anybody but things get heated up when he starts to notice her.

“Because in all the world, there’s only one of you. Think of all the factors that clicked into place in the universe for us to meet. Each piece had to happen in the order they did for our paths to cross. The odds are millions to one, and yet here we are.”

This delightful romantic comedy about Boone and Lucy is not only about the conspiracy theories and the mysterious goings on, the core of this tale is about letting go of the past and moving on. This is a very well written story told in Lucy’s point of view, a lot of witty and funny exchange between this pair and some scenes made me laugh out loud. The close relationship between Boone and his sister, Shari, adds up to this guy’s appeal and I can’t blame Lucy for falling in love with him. This book also offers the reader something different and special, it has two epilogues: one for the sceptic and one for the believer. I read both epilogues but I honestly can’t decide which one I prefer the most. You wouldn’t want to miss out on this gem! I highly recommend this book.
