COVER REVEAL ~ THREE BLIND DATES by MEGHAN QUINN

We are excited to bring you the cover for THREE BLIND DATES from Meghan Quinn. This standalone romcom releases on January 4th, 2018… Who will you pick? The Suit. The Rebel. The Jock.

“Good Morning Malibu, it’s another beautiful day on the west coast! I’m Noely Clark, your host: and I’m in the market for love…”

When the publicity team of the new local restaurant, Going in Blind, began their search for a hot, local celebrity to promote the wildly popular eatery, they couldn’t have found a better person than me.

Outgoing? Check.
Single? Check.
Open to finding love? Check.

I signed up immediately.

A hopeless romantic with an exceedingly demanding schedule, I’ve found it impossible to find the man of my dreams—so Going in Blind seems too good to be true! That’s until they start setting me up on dates—three very different, very attractive, very distinct blind dates—and only one thing is for certain . . .

I’m in big trouble.

Good Morning Malibu,
I’m Noely Clark, and I have a choice to make.
The question is who will I choose; the suit, the rebel, or the jock.

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!

SYNOPSIS

Six foot three. Dynamic green eyes. Utterly irresistible.

Ethan Everest stole my breath the first time I saw him. He romanced me with skill, dazzled me with his charisma, and proceeded to steal my heart right after.

I might have fallen for his easy going smile the first time we met, but I fell for him the second time.

Honey-colored hair. Cherry-kissed lips. Captivatingly gorgeous.

Singer Davis was the first, and only, woman to ever intimidate me. She spoke to my heart with her wit, seduced me with her eyes, and became the only thing that made sense in a world that made none.

I let her slip through my fingers once. I won’t make that mistake twice.

Secrets broke us apart. Can a second chance bring us back together?

Yet again S L Scott nailed it. I was so excited to read this book and couldn’t wait to dive right on in there.

Singer Davis was a green-eyed brunette with a beautiful smile. She had moved to the bright lights of New York City from a small town and lived in a small apartment with her best friend Melanie. Both girls had big dreams but living in the big city was not living up to all that they had hoped it would be.

Ethan Everest was panty-dropping, knee-weakening handsome. All the ladies loved him and he loved all the ladies, until one bad decision cost him dearly in more ways than one. Once bitten twice shy maybe? He’d first seen Singer at a social gathering where they both had mutual friends. Instantly drawn to her, an encounter on the fire escape could have changed both their lives forever. But the time wasn’t right for both of them.

One year later and Ethan finally asks her out at another social gathering. Only she’s not quite sure where she stands with him. He wants to be friends and she wants more. Ethan can be quite elusive so Singer finds it quite hard to read him. He has secrets and is worried that once she knows them all,  she will think differently of him. And that is the question we all begin to ask and wonder. Will she or won’t she ?

That is the question that I’m not going to give you the answer to! This is the part in my review where ! tell you to read the book. Ha ha!

Singer Davis was the  character in this book that I most connected with. She was sweet, gentle and always wanting to please everyone. They were a perfect match even if both of them were not willing to admit it to each other just yet.

I really loved the outline for this story. Singer and Ethan were two characters that complimented each other. Ethan was in torment. It had been a rough year for him and only now could he see a bright future in front of him. He was lonely no more. Letting singer into his life and into his heart was the best thing he ever did. Will they both get their happy ending?

This story was well written and the story flowed throughout with ease. I have read quite a few books from this author and to be truthful, she has become one of my favourites. Her style of writing makes every book she has written a worthwhile and stimulating read. My final comment on this book involves the sport of baseball.  I loved how the author incorporated her favourite baseball team, The Houston Astros into her story line, reminding me of the time I had spent in New York City with the team staying at my hotel. (Bet you wished you was there too, huh S L Scott!). *sticks out tongue* If I could give this read more that 5 stars I surely would. So well deserved! Congratulations S L Scott.

Slipping off my shoes, I dim the lights on the wall panel. I take my clothes off and hang them on a hook near the door before returning to the tub.

The tub, warm and inviting as I step in, eases my aching feet from my high heels and the tension in my shoulders. I pour some of the bubble suds and giggle. That was so cute and showed me a whole new side to Ethan—the at-home Texan who relates to his roots—instead of the strong, quieter, broodier man I see sometimes.

While the suds foam and the tub fills, I look out the window. The sky is clear up here. The buildings are far enough apart to avoid spying on neighbors. It’s like floating in heaven.

I hear his knock on the door, so I call, “Come in,” while making sure the bubbles cover all the important parts.

Ethan walks in with two glasses of champagne in one hand and the bottle in the other.

“You came prepared,” I note, leaning back on one side of the tub.

“I thought I might join you.” He waggles his eyebrows.

I giggle and reach for a glass. “Come on in,” I reply and wonder if he will really take me up on my dare.

He sets the bottle and his glass down on the side of the tub. His tie was removed before he came in and I notice his shoes are long gone, along with his jacket. When he starts on the buttons of his shirt, I sit up, scooping suds over me. “Wait, for real?”

“Yep. I think that tub’s big enough for the two of us.”

“But you said you don’t take baths.”

“I also said I’ve never used this one. Seems like an opportune time.”

“But I’m naked,” I say, worried about everything—his body naked next to mine, not shaving my legs before I went out tonight. My mind flickers through my flaws. Ugh. No. Just no. Not like that. That stuff should be shared in the dark of a bedroom under the influence of alcohol and desperate sex. We’re too sober for this. I’m too sober for this. What does he possibly see in me when he has women like Nicolina waiting?

He’s more than I’ve imagined, and in some senses, it scares me. He’s the sort of man women like Nicolina land. For once though, it was as if she saw me as competition. The feeling is exhilarating.

“Like I said, seems like an opportune time.”

His shirt is dropped, his undershirt following quickly behind. Good God Almighty. What does a guy who looks like that see in me? “I see you like to work out.” I clear my throat and want to bonk my head on the side of the tub for saying it out loud.

Chuckling, he says, “I have a gym down the hall. It’s how I relieve stress.”

“I thought that’s what sex was for.” I gasp and cover my mouth, wishing I could keep my crazy thoughts in my head where they belong instead of on my tongue. His eyes are heavy, a smirky smirk restraining a laugh. “God, you cannot let me talk when I’m nervous.”

“If this is what happens when you’re nervous, I’ll make you nervous more often.” His pants come down and my curiosity is answered. Tonight he’s in boxers. When he catches my eyes on his package, I’m thankful I’m wearing waterproof mascara because I immediately go underwater. Screw my makeup. It’s really the only way to keep my mouth in check at this point. I count to five and then pop back up. With my hands covering my boobs, I ask, “You’re really coming in?”

   “Yes, scoot over.”

   Good God Almighty.

BLURB

He thinks he’s too big for me. I like a challenge.

On my 25th birthday I received a letter. My mother had left me a piece of land in her will– the farm I grew up on as a child. Her last request was that I restore it… and how could I say no?

So I returned to my little town full of big memories. Nothing has changed here.

Except for Grant Werther.

When we were kids, I barely saw him. Now I can’t miss him. The guy is HUGE; all muscle and beard, like some hardened mountain man. He’s intimidating… and definitely sexy, in an alpha-male-cowboy kind of way.

Turns out his dad owns part of my farm and he’s got the papers to prove it. That means I can’t do anything without Grant’s approval. On top of that, this jerk says I’m too “city girl” to be here.

And the way he openly stares at my ass in my cut-off jeans makes it clear what he thinks I’d be good at.

He’s the biggest man I’ve ever seen and I admit, I’m curious what he’s hiding in his boxers.

I didn’t know he’d catch me peeking.

Now he won’t stop teasing me. He keeps saying I could never handle him, that he’d break me in two. I know I don’t have to prove him wrong…

But I want to.

This is a full length novel with a HEA and NO cheating!

Penny Wylder writes just that– wild romances. Happily Ever Afters are always better when they’re a little dirty, so if you’re looking for a page turner that will make you feel naughty in all the right places, jump right in and leave your panties at the door!

Returning home to her roots was never in Sasha’s plan, trust a parent to know which strings to pull to achieve that goal. Sasha returns to the small country town she grew up in and is forced into the unlikeliest of partnerships. Grant Werther is a hard working, simple man who truly believes it is better to live in the country than it is to live in the city. And he is the reason this book is called Big Man and oh help me, is he a big boy!

‘His biceps are as thick as my thigh, and I can’t help thinking, as I watch him lift and ready the ax to swing, how easily he could toss me around a bedroom’

Big Man is a second chance romance about two people who knew each other in childhood, and who never could get over the fears and anxiety of telling one another how they feel.

‘ “You’re exactly the same girl you used to be”, he said. How can I be? I’ve run as far from her as I possibly can.’

‘I knew him again the moment I saw him. I’m still the girl I used to be–and he’s still the boy he was too.’

Big Man is pure decadence, it’s a meal consisting only of desserts. Grant Werther is sex incarnate. A male popsicle I’d gladly run away and not be willing to share. This is such a stunningly hot read with so many sweet parts that I’ll be sure to brush my teeth after reading this one, I don’t need anymore cavities! The most touching aspect of this book was the description of small town living and how the residents can be, both the good and the bad points.

“This feels more real than any of that ever did.”

EXCERPT

I round the edge of the house and stop dead on the path, forgetting for a moment about my rage. Hell, even about the pebbles I’m standing on.

In front of me, shirtless and sheened in sweat, is the most perfectly sculpted man I have ever seen.

He could be made of bronze the way he’s posing now, weighing the axe over his shoulder as he eyes the stack of wood in front of him, balanced on the same tree stump where my Mama used to chop her own wood years ago. I can count every single muscle on his chest, from his pecs down his washboard abs to the perfect V that points like an arrow straight down, to a faint line of dark hair that I can’t help tracing to the fly of his jeans.

Damn jeans.

It takes every ounce of my self-control not to drool when he swings the axe all over again, distracting me with the surge and flow of his biceps, the way even his back ripples with strength. He’s got longer hair than I’m typically into, bound in a tight bun at the nape of his neck, dark and curly, to judge by the few flyaways that have escaped the hair tie.

I’m still gawking when he turns to look at me.

Holy shit. No way.

My jaw threatens to drop completely open because I realize—only when he looks straight at me head—I know this guy.

Grant Werther. The formerly scrawny kid who used to chase me around this lawn every summer while our parents talked shop. His dad owned a farm up the road, had the same business problems to deal with as Mom.

I have to say, he’s filled out nicely. His face, which used to be all thin angles, now features sharp cheekbones, a cut jaw and a fine nose. His eyes are dark too, piercing where they catch mine and lock, and his dark, full beard only accentuates his looks.

I swallow so hard I nearly gulp down my tongue in the process.

As for him, he shows no signs of recognizing me at all. Fine, if he wants to play at that game. “What are you doing here?” I manage to ask, finally recovering my wits.

“I could ask you the same thing.” He runs a hand over his hair, taming a few of those wisps, and narrows his eyes. “This is private property, Miss.”y
