FIVE DEADLY STARS
OMG were the words that left me once I started reading this next instalment of the Empathy Series. I’m not a big fan of dark reads but there is just something about Ryan that draws me back to his story over and over again.
Cereus is Ryan’s niece and very much like him in more ways than one. The darkness in Ryan is also in her and it frightens her. She is not at peace with it but Ryan comes to her rescue and together, unbeknownst to her mother, Melody, Cereus and Ryan wander the earth together on a killing spree. These two dark souls have a connection that no one will understand or even begin to comprehend. Together they are dangerous, destructive and deadly.
Their victims are not just random people; they are people they know albeit fleetingly or quite well and in some way or another, irritated the s***t out of them. This is a couple you would not like to upset or even meet. Ryan can control his darkness whereas Cereus cannot. So which one is the most dangerous? That’s for you the reader to decide.
All good things or should that be bad, come to an end and where this journey ends will take you full circle. Not even Blake, Ryan’s brother, and Cereus’s father can help them.
Ker Dukey. Wow ! Your series took me to a place I’m not sure I would want to go and visit again! Ha ha! I sit here writing this review trying to figure out what makes people do the things they do. But I cannot. You took me to the creepiest, darkest corner of my mind and left me wanting more throughout the entire series. WOW! This was an incredible dark read.
I cannot express freely how mad this book is. Amazon would no doubt be after me! Congratulations and thank you for a most enjoyable read. Five well deserved deadly stars.
