I’m so glad I got to review this book as I was looking forward to reading it. And by god gal, you didn’t disappoint me. I loved it so much that I read it twice! Those of you who are reading this, please make sure you’ve read volume one first.

We see Bink leave her MC family and start life afresh. But unbeknown to her, there is a small problem that she knows she will never forget. Yeh! That small problem is Big! Bink starts her new venture and evens gets a job and starts a new relationship. The thing is, does she still have feelings for him? There is also something more going on with the MC family and her biological family which she is unaware of and will be revealed as you read on.

Several months later, Bink receives an invite to her brother’s wedding. The only issue she has is with her new man who wants to accompany her. Yet another problem arises; Marshal might not be what everyone expects. And she certainly knows he isn’t her type either. Won’t it be interesting to see how the MC receive him?

Anyway, Bink goes home to find Big has moved on and now has a girlfriend. She’s hurt but when he sees her with a new man, he gets mad. They fight with words that are hateful and this crushes Bink. Big has a choice. Accept her new man and move on, or step up to the plate and claim her. However, that tiny problem Bink has, Big has no idea about. And little does she realise that it’s his dilemma too. She’s has been lying to the MC family and only her new man knows the truth.

Big decides what he is going to do and locks her in the basement and make his demands. “I want you in my bed every fu**ing night and you can be damn sure I won’t be touchin’ other women while your mine.” Does she agree or does she go back to her new life with Marshal who in a space of a weekend, got drunk and used drugs? Not only that, he’s not happy with the life of the MC, and prefers Bink’s mom and sisters who are a major factor between our two main characters. Big also decides it’s time to tell his women why he’s got between her mother and the club.

All characters have their role in this novel and I loved every single one of them. I hope Bink writes more stories about them. Even though there is a third novel in this series, this book does have a HEA. To say I clapped and laughed and cried happy tears at this book is an understatement. Bink you have my heart! I love this series and I am so impatient to finding out what’s going to happen to the mother. Again, well done you! I have awarded this book FIVE stars but I would have given it more if that were possible. Sadly I can’t.

Author Bink Cummings was born and raised part of an MC family. Upon the incessant coercion from her sacred sisters, she has begun her newest journey in life–writing. When she’s not shacked up in her home, writing at all hours of the night, Bink enjoys riding motorcycles, taking care of her extensive roughneck family, and cooking huge meals. Especially her infamous chocolate chip cookies.

LESS THAN PERFECT (The Jack Grant Trilogy Book 1) by DYLAN SCOTT

Title: Less than Perfect, Part I
Author: Dylan Scott
Genre: New Adult, Romance
Release Date: February 5, 2015
Jack Grant knew exactly what he wanted. A successful businessman with little time or patience for dating, a membership to Perfect Events suited his lifestyle perfectly.
Thirty-two carefully selected criteria ensured his dates were a match for his very particular taste. Hair color, height, weight, education—every last detail—down to their considerable cup size, was meticulously selected. He’d bedded some of the most beautiful women in the world since becoming a member of the elite dating club.
All of his wants were met.
Yet none of his needs.
He’d been in love once, nine years ago. And once was enough. Sticking to arranged dating through the service was the perfect solution. And it worked. Until one day he opened a door he had never planned to. The one to his heart.
This novella is Part I of a three part series that will unfold over eight weeks.
Look for Part II on March 5, 2015

She leans toward me, closing the small gap between us and brushes her painted lips against my cheek. “And you look exactly like what I’ve been needing, Jack.”
She’s aggressive. And she smells good enough to eat. The blonde hair that is on my list of requirements is perfectly styled. Long, sexy, and outlining her full breasts that are the centerpiece of her tight black dress. Elegant, yet still provocative enough to make my slacks tighten.
“I ordered some appetizers in case you were ravenous,” she says, purring the word ravenous and letting me know I can eat anything I want. Anything.
I glance at the table. As if I could miss the three, silver domed-covered plates awaiting my arrival. I despise it when people try too hard.
“Thanks. But, I’m not. Not for food anyway.”

This author co-wrote Left Behind which I thoroughly enjoyed so when my sister-in-arms asked me if I would like to review Less Than Perfect, I jumped at the chance. My appetite was wetted when I started to read a prologue one would not normally come across. “Most interesting,” I thought to myself. “Let’s read on!”

Quote: “Jack, Jack, Jack. What am I going to do with you?” I refrain from telling her what she could do to me.

Jackson William Grant. Better known as Jack to Alexis and the few acquaintances he endures and who endure him. I still haven’t made up my mind whether I like this guy or not. He is large of ego, wealthy, drop-dead gorgeous, and has a totally convoluted attitude towards dating. This self-made man and workaholic has no time for such pleasantries. The only way he can satisfy his requirements is by using one of the most reputable online dating agencies around.

Quote: “That’s why the waiting list to get into my club is longer than a mall line to see Santa Claus.”

Liv Daniels’ matchmaking skills are going to be put to the test. Finding a woman who doesn’t turn into the usual one night stand for a remarkably demanding client is not going to be an easy task. They email each other daily. The banter between messages is curt; at times on the verge of comical.

Quote: “I don’t dream about sex, Liv. I have sex. Whenever I want it. What do you dream about?”

Even though Jack and Alexis go back a long, long way, after all this time he’s still not prepared to talk to her about something that happened eight years ago. I have my suspicions about what it could have been; however, I am sure he is the man he is today because of the outcome of said milestone. Lex is beautiful, artistic, has a great sense of humour and more importantly, tolerates Jack’s idiosyncrasies. But only up to a certain point. When he hurts her feelings is when he realises he doesn’t deserve her friendship. I wonder if she’ll ever be able to forgive him for his patronizing behaviour! And I also wonder if she is being completely honest, and if Jack will one day see through the façade she has so carefully built to protect herself.

Quote: “Do they really kiss you? I mean the kind of kiss that warms your whole body and makes you smile. Do they ever kiss you like that?”

Of course, the author had to offer us a twist and a half in this unputdownable novella. Wow! I can tell you now, I didn’t see that coming. She has also kindly offered us a peek at Less Than Perfect’s sequel, Perfect For Me, due to be published next month which I can’t wait to get my hands on. I’d like to thank you for not making me wait too long. Something I abhor in series. Now to sum up your solo debut Ms. Scott. There is no doubt in my mind your storytelling is par excellence. In my book this means Bravo! Ooh yes, and if you ever contemplate making a playlist, please consider adding In The Summer Time sung by Mungo Jerry. The lyrics were written for Jack!

Quote: “Did you wine her and dine her or just show up and nail her on an empty stomach?”

Dylan Scott is a New York trial attorney, wife and mother of four. She believes her job as a trial attorney is a subcategory to the field of entertainment more than it is law. With a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature she believed teaching English was a destined career choice until she realized her life long talent of “argument” actually could be her job. A recent, fairly boring, midlife crisis resulted in a brief stint as a middle school English teacher which confirmed that she wasn’t ready to give up the law. Dylan has also taught legal courses at the college level and worked with at-risk inner city youth in the roles of mentor and coach. She was inspired to write Less than Perfect after reading all the great works of her Left Behind co-author, Vi Keeland.
