Five Freakin’ Marvellous Stars.

Reviewed by Dawn Vickers on behalf of Kindle Friends Forever.

Emma Bancroft is a part time lap dancer. She’s doing what she can to survive and support her family; however, she doesn’t want the life she’s living. What choice does she have though? She looks after her young brother, works long hours and carries the burden of a secret. She’s a beautiful young soul. Kind, caring, and always puts others before herself. Every day is a struggle for her.

Carson Matthews. He’s a top of his game MotoGP driver and living the dream—his life is carefree, uncomplicated, and he has no worries. He’s a hotty! Sexy, handsome, rich and lives for his career. They couldn’t be more different…

She was sixteen when she met him at her first place of work. Every week he was there. Little did she know he was at the club to see her! But Emma can’t see that Carson only has eyes for her. She’s been in love with this drop-dead gorgeous man since she first laid eyes on him but she doesn’t think that he’d be interested in a girl like her. So she settles for what they have at the club, spending their time together in the back-room of the club. And what follows is a passionate, tender and loving relationship.

Carson takes his time with Emma, making her feel wanted and loved. It’s like there’s no one else in the world but the two of them. He cares for her, looks out for her, and the feelings and chemistry is so hot between them that the inevitable occurs. They both end up wanting more. What started out so perfectly, now isn’t. Problems start stacking against them. Being apart doesn’t help their fears and insecurities, and of course, Emma’s secret. Will their love be strong enough to stand up against it all? Now both their lives have been turned upside down. How will they react and deal with what has happened? Can love heal all, or will it destroy them both?

Kirsty, you have done it again! You have brought out all my emotions, stamped all over them, and then put them back together again. Quite exhausting actually! You had me hooked from the first few pages in such a way in this tender, loving and sexy story that you made my heart ache. Sad; it is. Cry and scream, you will! But I loved every minute! It will capture your heart and get ready to hold on for your dear life!

It’s a story of true romance and love at its very best. Emma and Carson’s story is one of my top reads of 2014 which I highly recommend you buy. Dive straight in because you’ll never want their story to end. Sadly it does. To find out how… read it today!

poles apart (1)

He’s pole position…

Carson Matthews, the hottest driver ever to hit the MotoGP circuit, is living the carefree, celebrity lifestyle. With little to worry about, other than keeping himself top of the leader board, his favourite weekend pastime is visiting a certain blonde at Angels Gentlemen’s Club.

She’s a pole dancer…

Emma Bancroft, a part-time lap dancer, is just trying to make ends meet. Her responsibilities weigh heavily on her, as does the secret she’s kept from everyone for the last two and a half years.

The two of them are poles apart.

Kirsty Moseley has always been a passionate reader since she was a little girl, devouring books overnight, barely sleeping and paying for it at school the next day. Writing has come similarly to her and once she discovered Wattpad, she finally plucked up the courage to post one of her stories. Seven million reads later, she self-published her debut novel THE BOY WHO SNEAKS IN MY BEDROOM WINDOW, which later became one of 10 Finalists for the 2012 Goodreads’ Choice Awards, Best YA Fiction. Shocked and overwhelmed by the response, she published her second novel ALWAYS YOU a few months later.

If she had to sum herself up in one word, it would probably be ‘daydreamer’ – but unlike most of her school teachers, she doesn’t necessarily view that as a bad thing. After all, she read somewhere once that books are like waking dreams….

She lives in Norfolk, England with her husband and son.
